Export of IT services in Kazakhstan amounted to 241.2 million dollars

Kazakhstan is increasing the export of digital services, developing the national infrastructure of artificial intelligence and moving state services to the eGov 3.0 platform, reports primeminister.kz.

"Kazakhstan ranks 24th in the world ranking of e-government, more than 90% of government services are available online. The next stage is the transfer of state digital products to the unified technological base of QazTech. In 2026, it is planned to replace 39 systems, 10 of which are working on a new platform. On this basis, eGov 3.0 is being developed. 51 of the most requested services can be accessed through the eGov GPT, which is about 30% of citizen requests. It is planned to increase this figure to 70% by the end of the year," the government announced.

In addition, a national JI platform combining computing power, data, development tools and off-the-shelf models is being piloted. AI-assistants have been used more than 2 million times, and now more than 50 AI-agents are being developed.

The proprietary computing infrastructure for JI includes the national supercomputer cluster Alem.Cloud, ranked 86th in the TOP-500 list, and the commercial supercomputer "Kazakhtelecom" ranked 103rd in 2025. Export of IT services reached 1.1 billion dollars.

"Valley of Data Processing Centers" with an average capacity of up to 1 GW is one of the largest new projects. More than 500 MW of potential demand has already been established, with a $10 billion deal with Firebird. A direct connection to the Ekibastuz power grid, backup international data transmission channels and the Trans-Caspian fiber-optic communication network are being built for the site for enthusiasts. Special regulatory conditions and tax benefits are provided to the participants.
