The head of ARRDF Madina Abylkasymova spoke about the plans at the Central Asia Fintech Summit. In simple words, this is a digital form of a regular bank deposit: the right to a deposit is recorded in the form of a digital asset - a token. Such instruments will be able to be issued by financial organizations for citizens and businesses. According to Abylkasymova, the infrastructure for this is already being created. An operator of digital assets appeared on the basis of KASE, and the next task is the launch of the digital financial instruments themselves. Since May 1, 2026, systemic regulation of digital assets has already been in place in Kazakhstan.
