Demand for AI content “cleaners” is growing worldwide - El.kz

Against the backdrop of the massive use of generative AI, companies are increasingly looking for specialists who will refine texts, images and videos created by neural networks. The demand for such services has increased significantly in recent years, El.kz reports. According to Freelancer.com, which has more than 88 million registered users worldwide, the number of jobs tagged “AI bug fixing” increased by 87% year over year. On Upwork, the number of such orders has grown by 70%, and on Fiverr, the demand for AI content editing services has increased 20 times over three years. Specialists are hired for a variety of tasks: from finalizing design layouts and videos to editing texts and books written using neural networks. Freelancer.com CEO Matt Barry notes that AI output still requires human input to turn it into a finished product. Most often, such orders are placed by small companies and entrepreneurs. They use neural networks to create content quickly and cheaply, but are not always able to independently bring the result to the required quality. At the same time, for freelancers themselves, such work can be no less labor-intensive than creating content from scratch. Some spices

alists note that correcting a large number of errors and unnatural wording in AI materials requires significant effort. Against this background, some creative professionals are faced with a reduction in orders for traditional services, which are increasingly being automated with the help of AI. Thus, the development of neural networks is forming a new segment of the labor market - specialists who are actually engaged in “cleaning” AI content of its shortcomings.
