Tencent has open the source code of BrowserSkill. It connects AI agents to your real browser. Typically, the agent receives a separate, clean browser without your accounts. BrowserSkill allows Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Hermes and other agents to work on sites where you are already logged in. The agent operates in a separate visible window. If it needs your tab, it first asks for permission, takes it away temporarily, and returns it after completing the task. Captchas and confirmation windows are sent to the user, after which the work continues. This is not an MCP server, but a local command utility and browser extension. Therefore, BrowserSkill works with any agent that can execute commands in the terminal. Windows, macOS and Linux are supported. All code is distributed under the MIT license.
