Artificial intelligence, digitalization and innovative development became the main subjects of discussion between the head of the Russian Government Office, Dmitry Grigorenko, and Prime Minister Bektenov. At the meeting in Astana, the parties noted the growing importance of AI. They also emphasized that partnership in the field of digitalization is an integral part of bilateral relations, Sputnik reports. “Combining efforts in the process of introducing new technologies will act as an incentive for the development of innovation, the formation of measures to support IT entrepreneurs and start-up projects, the training of qualified specialists, and the improvement of information security measures,” the government of Kazakhstan reported. Kazakhstan has a very good level of digitalization, Grigorenko noted: “Starting with the fact that most public services in Kazakhstan can be obtained digitally, which is actually far from commonplace in the world, and ending with the fact that electronic documents and human IDs have been changing for a long time in Kazakhstan, and more than 80% of citizens use digital services, and the share of non-cash payments in Kazakhstan exceeds 80%. That is, all these statistical indicators say that the level of digitalization

in Kazakhstan today is very high.” He added that there are many implemented solutions in Kazakhstan and Russia that the countries can exchange. “Digitalization is simplification. This is probably the best tool today for fighting bureaucracy. And the result of any digitalization in any country is the simplification and improvement of the quality of public services received by citizens,” said the head of the Russian Government Staff. Therefore, it is important to move as much as possible towards the implementation of artificial intelligence solutions. — The quality of the implementation of any operation with artificial intelligence is always clear, predictable and controllable. Today, we have already implemented and are using solutions with artificial intelligence at the stage of telephone calls and citizen requests.” As an example, Grigorenko cited the Nizhny Novgorod MFC, where a pilot project on AI was launched. When citizens call by phone, more than 60% of calls are processed by artificial intelligence, without human intervention. In the Moscow region, artificial intelligence is also used to process citizen requests, dividing them according to the topic of the issue and directing them for execution. The agricultural turnover between Kazakhstan and Russia increased by almost 3% and amounted to $27.8 billion. At the same time, there is significant potential for further trade, economic and investment cooperation, the government emphasized.
